Sustainability Leadership Training (SLT)

The Sustainability Leadership Training (SLT) is a higher education course to train future opinion leaders on the concept of sustainable development, using embedded case study methods and outdoor activities.

The SLT didactic concept was developed in a Master thesis of the Master program on Communication and Education on Sustainability at the University of Rostock, Germany, in 2005 (Luthe, T. 2007. It is being taught since the year 2005 at the University of Freiburg, Centre for Key Qualifications, Germany. The program was reckognized as a UN World Decade Education on Sustainable Development in 2010/11.
